Group "Drip" Paintings Inspired by Jackson Pollock- Preschool and Prekindergarten

Preschool and Prekindergarten students looked at the work of Jackson Pollock and discussed the colors he used and how he created his work.  When it was time for the art project, students were given a big piece of butcher paper at each table group and shared the paper while the were making "drip" paintings by splattering paint on the paper with a paint brush.  Art smocks were necessary. :)
