Winter Night in Washinton, DC- Preschool and Prekindergarten

Students looked at the skyline of Washington, DC and talked about landmarks in the city.  We then spoke about what we can see at night besides the city lights.  After discussing stars in the sky and the winter season, students began to sponge white paint (for snow) on black paper (for the night sky).  The next art period, students glued down the DC skyline and stars.
