Abstract Flowers using Warm and Cool Colors- Second Grade

The second graders talked about the effect colors have on us and how artists use certain colors to evoke a feeling or emotion in a picture.  I got the idea for this project from Deep Space Sparkle, a wonderful resource for art teachers!  Here is the link:

Please note that in the Deep Space Sparkle's project, part of the focus was on Hundertwasser's work.  For this project, we did not discuss Hundertwasser (although I love his work!), our focus on color and the emotional effect colors have on us.
